The results of the Ballot counting are posted in the members section under ‘Residents Only’. Since the mailing was invalidated by the Board of Directors, these counts are for informational purposes only.

There were 501 verifiable ballots returned. 247 envelopes had no return address and nothing on the enclosed ballot, so they were invalid and not included in the count. There were 39 replacement ballots issued (the yellow ones) that were counted, reducing the number of invalid ballots to 208. We had 13 returned to us by the Post Office.

The Cumberland Cove POA Board of Directors has by a majority vote, voted in a Special Board Meeting on January 31, 2022, to invalidate the Covenant mailing. Once the Board has the necessary procedures in place, the Covenant amendments will be sent for your consideration. This will be discussed in more detail at the scheduled February 8, 2022 Board of Directors Meeting.
